TRAC
Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse

We Are Back Up!

Our trac.syr.edu public website has migrated to a new home. You now can now find us at:
https://tracreports.org
We also have a new email address you can contact us at: info@tracreports.org.

What Is Now Available

We have migrated the main areas, including all of our immigration reports and immigration data tools that were on our public website, but we are still working on migrating some areas which prove to be more challenging. These will take a bit more time to get up and running properly. So expect to encounter broken links, and some things not yet being available. But rest assured we will be adding what still needs to be fully migrated as soon as we can.

We decided, given everyone telling us they needed access right now, that the priority was to release the areas of highest demand as soon as we could, and not wait until everything was fully ready. We hope you will understand when you encounter broken links and agree with our decision.

Knowing you want the “latest available data,” we went ahead and updated our immigration court data tools and detention stats to include new data we received or analyzed after our website was taken down. And we have kept sending out new FOIA requests, so there are a number of pending requests for data from the new Trump administration. Our FOIA litigation for the release of more extensive ICE and CBP records has been continuing with new motions, briefs and discovery requests filed during January.

Thank You For Your Support and Encouragement!

We very much appreciate all of the phone calls and emails we have received with words of support and encouragement. And for being patient and understanding. We had no idea how widely our public website was being used — we even got an inquiry from Ukraine wondering why our website was down and seeking access.
