House GOP budget adds $150 billion for Trump’s immigration enforcement

An analysis from the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, which analyzes federal data, found that the Trump administration’s average daily rate of deportations through May 3 was about half of what it had claimed — and one percentage point below President Joe Biden’s daily average in fiscal year 2024.
