San Francisco's assistant chief immigration judge latest to be fired by Trump administration

According to data from the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University, McCleskey granted asylum in roughly 70% of the cases that came before her between 2019 and 2024. That puts her above the national average for asylum grant rates, but lower than most of the San Francisco immigration judges fired earlier this year.
