President Trump’s pledge to deport the “worst of the worst” in his crackdown on immigration also is rounding up migrants without criminal backgrounds. As of September of the nearly 59,769 people held in ICE detention, 71.5% have no criminal convictions, according to the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse. |
