Attorney representation in immigration court decreased by nearly 50% since 2021, data shows By Brianna Willis |

New data from a data clearinghouse at Syracuse University reveals just how many undocumented immigrants do not have an attorney when going through cases. In fiscal year 2021, the likelihood of having an immigration attorney present was 63%, and in 2026, it's 32%, according to Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, or TRAC. |
