Trump administration officials did not have an immediate comment on the lawsuit on Tuesday but have said before the new facility will be an $85 million revenue generator for Hudson and will include security, maintenance, recreational amenities, medical care, legal counsel and food services.
If the new facility is eventually completed, it will give Colorado one of the largest populations of immigrant detainees in the country, according to the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University.
