LAHORE, October 27, 2026: The North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) has welcomed an increase in immigration bond grants in the United States, citing figures reported by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) on October 26.
According to the latest figures cited by the association, US immigration judges granted bond to 2,646 individuals in September 2026, the highest monthly total in two years. Nearly 10,000 bond hearings were held during the month, highlighting the demand for judicial review of immigration detention cases.
